Uganda’s health system is composed of health services delivered in the public sector, by private providers, and by traditional and complementary health practitioners. It also includes community-based health care and health promotion activities. The aim of Uganda’s health system is to deliver the national minimum health care package. Uganda runs a decentralized health system with national and district levels.
Because Uganda has a very young population, population growth is predicted to keep increasing steadily even if the fertility rate were to decline during the next few years

The average life expectancy at birth in Uganda is 58 years, lower than any other country in the East African Community (except for Burundi). As of 2015, the probability of a child dying before reaching age five was 5.5 percent (55 deaths for every 1,000 live births). Total health expenditure as a percentage of (GDP) is approx. 10 percent in 2014.

The purpose of the business delegation is to attend high-level minister meetings as well as identify relevant local partners.
